All aboard the good ship (er..bad ship?) Pirate for the pirate-themed wedding of the year! Are you thinking of having a wedding with a difference? The pirate wedding is very popular. It's all in the attitude, and decorations! Paper boats moored to the banks; the skull and cross bones flags strung up from trees; treasure chests with costume jewellery scattered around; outdoor tables with gold chocolate coins for dubloons scattered on them; barrels of 'rum' for guests to sit on - or for just part of the decorations; small scatterings of sand on the tables and centerpieces with small potted palms; plastic cutlasses and swords hanging from above or put up on walls, pirate wedding favors such as eye-patches left on the tables for your guests to wear; postcards with treasure maps, mermaids or tall ships on them; badges with 'Captain Hook' on them, or 'Pirate Queen' or king, and why not even borrow or hire a parrot in a cage for the occasion?
